Combi, natural gas and LPG
Combustion figures
| Figure | Natural gas (G20) | LPG (G31) |
|---|---|---|
CO₂ at high rate More infoHide infoMaximum CH output, as checked in chimney sweep mode with the CH knob at maximum and the front case fitted. The MI also gives CO₂ at maximum DHW output (99%, one of the three levels set in the CO₂ set up procedure): NG 26CE, 30CE 9.2% ± 0.8%, 35CE 9.5% ± 0.8%; LPG 26CE, 30CE 10.2% ± 1%, 35CE 10.5% ± 1%. |

CO₂ at low rate More infoHide infoMinimum output. In chimney sweep mode, wait for the self-diagnosis symbol to stop flashing before reading. The LPG table prints 10.0 for the 26CE and 10 for the 30CE and 35CE. The MI also gives CO₂ at medium output (ignition), checked in chimney sweep mode with the display at 70 (26CE), 58 (30CE) or 54 (35CE): NG 9.0% ± 0.8% all sizes; LPG 26CE, 30CE 10.7% ± 1%, 35CE 10% ± 1%. | 9.0% ± 0.8% | 10.0% ± 1% |
Maximum CO More infoHide infoThe LPG table says other technical data is the same as the NG data. | 200 ppm | 200 ppm |
CO/CO₂ ratio More infoHide infoMaximum. Section 6 says the ratio should be less than 0.003. The LPG table says other technical data is the same as the NG data. | 0.003 | 0.003 |
O₂ | Not given in MI | Not given in MI |
Working inlet pressure More infoHide infoGiven as Gas supply pressure, with no range. Measurement point not stated in MI. | 20 mbar | 37 mbar |
Gas rate at maximum More infoHide infoGas rate at max. output, natural gas table. The LPG table gives no gas rate; its line saying other technical data is the same as NG has not been applied to a natural gas volume. |

Enter service mode for high and low rate
High rate
- With no heating or hot water demand, hold RESET for 8 seconds. The parasol and snowman symbols flash together.
- Turn the central heating knob to maximum. Display shows 99.
- If a Climatic controller is fitted it shows ERR>07. That’s not a fault.
Low rate
- Turn the central heating knob to minimum. Display shows 00.
- For the medium (ignition) check, turn the knob until the display shows 70 (26CE), 58 (30CE) or 54 (35CE).
Ending the test
- Ends by itself after 15 minutes, or hold the On-Off/Standby button to turn the boiler off.
